Job Description
Proto IT Consultants is searching for an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller to enhance our healthcare billing team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of medical billing procedures, insurance processes, and denial management, along with hands-on experience dealing with both public and private payers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately submit claims to private insurance companies, Medicaid, and Medicare.
- Conduct insurance verification, pre-authorization, and eligibility assessments.
- Effectively review and resolve claim denials.
- Draft and submit timely appeals with the appropriate documentation.
- Apply knowledge of CPT/HCPCS and ICD codes for accurate claim submissions.
