Job Description
The Eastern Group of Companies is looking for a committed Import Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will take on a variety of responsibilities related to imports, which include:
- Arranging Letter of Credit (LC) and advance payments
- Processing debiting advice and LC amendments
- Managing negotiable and non-negotiable documents sent to Commercial Accounts
- Coordinating insurance policies and invoices for import shipments
- Assisting with the entry of import consignments into inventory
- Organizing bank documents and processing Commercial Account bills
- Coordinating payments for transportation bills
- Maintaining monthly sales tax registers for imports and purchases
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: Rs 55,00.00 – Rs 65,00.00 per month
Work Location: On-site
